Soho Honey stops at ‘A Crime Readers Blog’

Yesterday’s Blog Tour stop and review…

LATEST_SohoHoney_AWRock_FrontCover-c

“As the title suggests Soho Honey is set in Soho, London. The main character Branen had to leave the UK six years earlier due to his criminal past. He returns when his daughter is brutally murdered and Branen is asked to return to hunt down her killer. However he soon realises that unless he wants to spend the rest of his life running he will have to face up to his past.”

“It was quite an evocative novel with descriptions vividly conjuring up the seedy side of Soho that you imagine would make a great film.”

“This is the start of a series, and therefore this book was very much about setting the scene for later novels.”

“It’s a gritty crime drama full of suspense..” 5 Stars!

David Baird gave Soho Honey a great review and five stars at our blog tour stop yesterday.

“The plot line has twists and turns and was exciting to read.. with each page turn I was left wondering what else could possibly happen!”

“As soon as Branen’s daughter is involved the fast pace of the story turns to suspense and a brilliant story builds up leading on from her murder.”

“This book has one of the most powerful covers I’ve ever seen. The bee on the girl’s lip just makes me shudder every time I look at it.”

“Soho Honey is a very tense, well-written book.”

“It kept me on the tip of my toes with several heart-pounding, fast-paced moments and a feeling of helplessness and apprehension that something bad is waiting to happen around the corner. I found myself in a world where you can trust no-one and you have to constantly look behind your shoulders. You never know who’s watching your every move.”

“A.W. Rock has penned a dramatic and eventful thriller.”

The Soho Honey Blog Tour stops at ‘Grab this Book’ on our publication day – 5th May 2016!

“I really enjoyed the mix of characters that interact within the streets of London’s Soho. Through the bars and back-street hotels will pass drug dealers, gangsters, prostitutes, businessmen, models and a covert operative of the British Secret Service – their lives will overlap in spectacular fashion.”

“A story which switches from gritty street drama to a political thriller then a spy/espionage tale there is a lot to like about Soho Honey.  At times it is brutally graphic in depictions of violence, there is frequent drug use and the death count is high. If you like your thrillers unpredictable and action packed then you would do well to add this to your reading queue.”

“I enjoyed the in-depth writing during the whole geographical journey, lots of familiar names, landmarks made it feel as though I was actually a part of it.”
